  • The outward route is limited to Kochi arrivals and the return route is from Kochi departures.

Please follow the guidelines below when submitting your application

  • 【1 page manga】Please produce a 1 page manga on B4 size paper (257mm x 364mm) based on the given theme.It is recommended that the image resolution be at 350 dpi for coloured works, and 600 dpi for monochrome works. There is no restriction to the panel layout. Applicants can only submit up to 1 application for each category per person.
  • 【Story Manga】Please produce between 8 and 32 pages of manga on B4 size paper (257mm x 364mm).It is recommended that the image resolution be at 350 dpi for coloured works, and 600 dpi for monochrome works. There is no restriction to the panel layout. Applicants can only submit up to 1 application per person.
  • Hand drawn works that are scanned and made into data are also accepted.
  • The work can be in any language.
  • When submitting the work, it should be resized to be about 1000 pixels wide, and saved in either JPEG, PNG, or GIF (non-animated). A single file should also not exceed 10MB.

  • For those who passed the preliminaries, an e-mail to confirm your eligibility will be sent to your account's registered e-mail address, requesting for your personal information, such as your name, address, school name, and age. If such information cannot be provided and qualifications confirmed, or if the applicant is frequently uncontactable due to some circumstances, the Organizer shall disqualify the entry. After proceeding through a similar qualifying confirmation, other entries will advance to the finals in order of votes obtained.
  • Regarding the applicant for the "High School Student Category's 1 Page Manga", applicants must obtain consent from a parent or guardian before application. In addition, if the applicant for the work that has passed the preliminaries is unable to be contacted via e-mail, the educational institution provided at the time of application may be contacted, via telephone or otherwise, to carry out communication with the applicant.
  • If recognized that a submitted work infringes upon third-party copyright or rights to usage of ones’ likeness, or there is a possibility of said infringement, the entry will be disqualified, and prizes revoked, even after having been determined a winner.
  • The Organizer is in no way responsible, in cases where a third party submits a petition concerning the infringement of copyright such as plagiarism, illegal copy, or infringement of portrait rights, etc. or a charge for damages.
  • The copyright of the entry shall remain with the applicant. However, the Organizer may use the entry, without compensation, when “the Organizer issues periodicals and publishes material for public relations (including publications commissioned to a manufacturer by the Organizer)”, “the Organizer holds displays at exhibitions etc. hosted by the Organizer”, “the work is made public via internet or similar electronic media”, and “when the work is made public in exhibitions with the approval of the Organizer”. Additionally, Trista Co., Ltd. may use the entry in “Niconico Manga promotions” without compensation, and the applicant is aware that the "winner of the open category's story manga" will have their work posted on ComicWalker that is operated by KADOKAWA Co., Ltd. In addition, the applicant also consents in advance that the organizer, Trista Co., Ltd, and KADOKAWA Co., Ltd. can add the minimum necessary modifications and changes to submitted works, and that the applicant shall not exercise the author's rights to the three above-mentioned organizations.
  • The Organizer and Trista Co., Ltd. will use the collected personal information only as necessary, for the facilitation of the confirmation of participation qualifications, sending of awards, and other possible required communication.   • The final round results may conclude with "no work qualifying" for prizes previously prepared by the Organizer.

  • The finals will include media coverage of the applicant and the filming of the submitted work. In addition to this media coverage and filming being broadcasted on television, products resulting from such coverage and may also be used for Internet distribution, on websites and the like, as a publicity for this event.
